So You Want to be a Guest Designer?

Then you better head on over to the Noel Mignon Challenge blog right away! You have until February 15th to enter the Hometown Challenge for a chance to win the March Guest Design Team spot. I KNOW! For details click on the link listed above.

This is my layout about good ol' Bountiful, Utah. I was born and raised here and have lived here all my life. Technically, right now, I live in North Salt Lake. But until about 10 years ago, Bountiful and North Salt Lake were the same zip code, so I still count it!

This is the Bountiful Tabernacle. While in Anguilla I read a book about the history of Bountiful. I knew that my ancestor, Joseph Holbrook, had helped settle this town, but I also learned more about this building and combined with my own personal history with the building, I feel it's even more special.

You see, Joseph Holbrook helped build this church. When a storm blew the roof off, he donated supplies meant to go towards the building of his own home to rebuild the roof. My dad was raised a few streets from this church and grew up attending Sunday services here. When Kevin and I were first married, we lived just around the corner from my dad's boyhood home, and this was where we first attended church as a married couple. Our firstborn was also blessed here. Ahhhh! Memories!

That's my hometown! Now I want to learn more about yours! So get yourself on over to Noel's site and enter the challenge! You've got nothing to lose, but the chance to work with Noel's amazing kits! :)
