The new challenge is up at the Noel Mignon Challenge Blog. This time around the challenge is to scrap a summertime tradition . . . and for our family that means PARADES. :)
Here is the layout I made using items mostly from the Noel Mignon Eyes of Blue kit. (The journal tag is from the Five Foot Two kit and the stamps are from the Rise and Shine kit.) I also took the opportunity to try out my new SHIMMERZ on this page!!! So fun!!!
If you look closely, you can see that I accented the ruffled paper with Pixie Dust Blingz . I also added it to the green felt brads and around the edges of the photos. I just love the glittery, firework effect it gives this page!
I also have a layout for you using the Noel Mignon Penny Arcade kit. This page was in the June issue of ScrapStreet Magazine and I needed to wait until now to post it. My challenge was a journaling challenge . . . to use all nouns. So I made a page describing all the things my husband, Kevin, is to me. :) It was fun to do a page just about him. I definitely need to do that more often. :)
Finally, I thought I would share some pictures from our weekend. I'm still terrible at taking pictures in low-light situations, so you'll have to forgive a few of them, but I thought you'd still like to see some pics of Cam celebrating her third birthday. :) The rest of the pics are from a 4th of July parade and picnic in the mountains. It was a wonderful weekend!!!
Talk to you again soon!
