Shimmerz + Urban Anthology Grandma's Kitchen

I've been playing with the Urban Anthology Grandma's Kitchen kit and my new Shimmerz!!! So much fun!

I wanted to add interest to my background so for both of these layouts I layered Spritz in three different colors: Barn Door Red, Mudpie and Olive Branch. The Spritz's subtle color and shine are perfect for adding a little bit more depth to a project.

I highlighted the flowers with Sunflower Shimmerz paint and the berries on the Cosmo Cricket cutouts with Fire Engine Red Shimmerz. I love how the veins in the flowers just POP! with the paint on top.

For this second page, I laid down a few punched stars before Spritzing my background. I love how they peek out subtley from behind my photo grouping. Thank you to Deanna Misner for the sketch inspiration on this page! You can see her sketch on the Urban Anthology blog here.

Well, that's it for now! I hope you have a lovely weekend! Today we are doing some weeding and then later Kevin and I are going to the Parade of Homes. Can't wait! I always love looking for new decorating ideas. :)

Talk to you again soon!
XOXOXOXOX
