Pink Paislee Starlight Collection

This week was my turn for the Monday Monochromatic post on the Pink Paislee Blog . I decided to take the Starlight Collection and scrap a page using the soft yellows and aqua blues. I also added the striped paper and Cork Buttons from the Queen Bee Collection and Weathered Wood Expressions Alphabets .

And here is the result!

Sink or Swim

I used the starburst in the background yellow paper to determine the placement of my photo and then worked from there.

I was inspired by my fellow Noel Mignon Design Team member, Candice Reszko , to create this layered pennant banner. Check out her cute page HERE . I used an upside down Christmas Tree image from the FaLaLa Slice Design Card and just trimmed off the tree trunk. The star stickers are from the Starlight Elements Sticker Sheet. The blue gems are from Adornit (LOOOOVE these!).

I was almost finished with my page when I decided I needed "something more". I didn't want to cover anything up with more layers and that is when I decided to add the paper pierced swirls using a Crafter's Workshop template.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Happy Summer!
Jana
