Happy Weekend!

WooHOOOO! I'm being lifted this week at the Lift This Blog! CHECK IT OUT!
Thank you to Nicole, Vinnie and everyone else at Lift This for having me this week. :D :D :D I LOVE the pages you created . . . WOW!!! One of these days I need to work on my digital skills. I can change my blog around . . . but that's about it. :)

I also was excited to find out that the gals over at Crafting Jewish Style are being inspired by some of my sketches. Thanks, girls! :D

Camryn's Unicorn Birthday Party was yesterday and was so much fun. Pink, purple and aqua coated everything! :D Typical girly party!

I couldn't find any unicorn paper products in town, so I ended up making my own. I'll share that stuff with you here, since I know you are probably "Paper People" like me. ;)

For the invitation, I lifted THIS IDEA from the Making Memories Blog by Leah Fung . It turned out so cute! I created the envelope on my Silhouette machine. (The file is called Envelope Photo Sleeve. I trimmed down the top to make it fit the size invitation I wanted, and then punched my own circles on the top.)

The unicorn is created using the Slice and the Big Kids design card. The gorgeous pink papers and brads are from the My Mind's Eye LUSH collection. :)

The one unicorn item I did find were stick horses at Dollar Tree. I added ribbon to them and piled them together in a vase for the centerpiece. The tags were made on my Cricut using the Doodlecharms cartridge.

I was going to leave the plates plain, but at the last second used the Unicorn image from the Once Upon a Princess Cricut Cartridge to cut shapes from more My Mind's Eye Lush paper to add to the cups and plates. I just set the image on the plate like you would a doily. The kids removed them and played with them while we were dishing up their cake and ice cream.

And my favorite item . . . the goodie bags. :D I LOOOOOVE putting together goodie bags, and I had just as much fun decorating them!

The unicorn is again from the Once Upon a Princess Cricut cartridge. The scalloped circle behind the unicorn is from the Lite Lacy Labels cartridge. The scallop border is from the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge, and the tag is made from the Doodlecharms Cartridge. Papers from the Lush collection by My Mind's Eye.

Thanks for letting me share with you!

I wanted to let you know that you may not "see" me around much next week. I will be creating, creating, creating for CHA. Just know, that in a few short weeks I'll be able to show everything to you. YAY!!! (Don't you love CHA time?! :D :D :D )

Okay! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Take care!
Jana
