Pink Paislee Queen Bee

It's my turn again for the Monochromatic Monday post on the Pink Paislee Blog today. I decided to really dig into the Queen Bee collection because it is PERFECT for pages with a monochromatic feeling. I kept my photos and embellishments black and white so that they would POP against the creams and yellows in this collection.

When we first moved into our home we found that the cap of the banister post was loose. When we looked inside at the hollow column we had the idea that this would make the perfect spot to hide a Family Time Capsule. We found a metal container at the store and had it engraved with "Eubank Family 2008 - 2028"

We had the best intentions to fill up our Time Capsule right away, but wouldn't you know it, we didn't get it completely put together until the beginning of this year. *blush, blush* Sooo, instead of opening it in 20 years, we will open it in 18. Hehehehe! But I think it will still be fun to go through. :)

We included pictures of ourselves, recent news events, and a questionnaire filled out by each of us including predictions for ourselves. As I helped 3 yr. old Camryn fill out her paper I couldn't help buy giggle when she said she wants to be a Doctor Princess when she grows up. :)

Supplies: Queen Bee Collection (papers, Punch Out Die Cuts, Flip Notes, Clear Impressions Stamps 6X6 Mini Papers, Bella Brads), Blackberry Expressions Weathered Wood Chipboard Alphabets, Licorice Expressions Ambrose Letter Stickers, Pear Expressions Whimsies Letter Stickers (colored black).

Thanks for coming by!
Have a great week!
Jana

  7. What a great idea! Love the way you've used the creams and yellows together with the B & W photos. It'll be such fun opening it in 2028...hopefully the doctor princess will have time to attend the occasion (I'm assuming she'll be quite busy fulfilling all her duties!).
