Pink Paislee Artisan Tape

Today is my turn for the Tip & Technique on the Pink Paislee blog. One of my favorite ways to embellish pages for boys is to use stars. This time around I decided to create my own star page accents using the Artisan Tape by Pink Paislee.

First, I adhered several different patterned tapes in rows on a piece of Kraft cardstock. Then I used a template to trace and cut out several star shapes.

I mounted them on a solid patterned paper and stitched around the edges with black thread.

To help them come to life with even more dimension, I accented them with Pink Paislee's 365 Degrees Cork Buttons and Bella Brads.

And here they are on my page!

All Supplies by PINK PAISLEE : 365 Degrees and Bayberry Cottage Papers, 365 Degrees Pleated Ribbon, Cork Buttons, Bella Brads; Bayberry Cottage Stamps; Artisan Tapes, Scarlet Weathered Wood Chipboard Expression Alphabets.

Owen has been obsessed with "growing out" his hair lately . . . but this is as long as it got before it started to bug him. LOL! Kevin and I were glad when he asked to have it cut back to his normal "do." :)

Have a great day!
