Guest Designing at Imaginisce!!!

As if yesterday wasn't FUN enough!!! . . . I also get to be the Guest Designer at Imaginisce for the coming week!!! :D :D :D I tell you, I'm on cloud 9!!! :D :D :D Whoever helped the stars to align in my favor . . . I owe ya one. ;)

Yesterday, Imaginisce featured the pages I made with their To Love & Cherish line on their blog. I will be sharing those with you in just a moment. But first, I want to tell you exactly WHY I love Imaginisce so much! :D

If you know me as a scrapper at all, you know that I go GAGA over layering and dimension. I can't leave things flat. I just can't. I'm a bumpy-lumpy scrapper through and through. :) Next time you are at your scrapbook store I want you to go to the Imaginisce section and look at their products. EVERY SINGLE PIECE has depth, dimension, and interesting character to it! They've even managed to make flat paper dimensional!!! Eeeek!!! How cool is that?! What do I mean? On one side of each paper part of the design has been enhanced with a special glossy UV spot. It's like having clear embossing built into your papers! I LOOOOOVE it! It simply makes me happy. :D

And! They're embellishments! Stacked stickers, chipboard, ribbons, rub-ons, brads, flowers, stamps, PUFFY stickers, and shiny Sticker Glass stickers!!! I just want to lay them all out on the floor and dive into them. LOLOL! My kids found them quite appealing as well . . . I felt like I had to crack out a whip to protect my goods . . . BACK! You, kids! These are mine! Back! Back! Hehehehe!

Okay, enough of my gushing. I feel like I'm starting to sound like an Imaginisce Infomercial . . . I just hope you can tell that I LOVE Imaginisce. :D I've been having fun playing with everything and can't wait to show you what I created this week.

Sooo, first up! The TO LOVE & CHERISH collection. This collection is geared towards weddings, proms, and any other kind of black tie affair. Since it's been awhile since I've attended anything like that . . . I wanted to show you that this collection is just as fun to use for everyday moments. :D (Click on images to view larger.)

I'M A ROCK STAR

Camryn usually isn't a fan of me taking pictures of her. I was out in the yard practicing my manual settings for a photography class I'm taking, when she climbed on top of a boulder in our yard and yelled at me, "Mom! Look! I'm a Rock Star!" Whoa! Now that's a pose! Heee! I'm so glad I had my camera ready and I was able to snap it! :D What a hoot that kid is! She cracks me up every single day. :D

I cut out some of the swirls from the papers and combined them with the flowers, pearl brads, and Sticker Stackers to embellish my photo grouping.

To add a rock star "edge" to my page I added lots of Metallic Pearl Hot Rocks with the new i-Rock tool by Imaginisce. This tool is AWESOME!!! I would never be willing to give up that many silver brads to one page. But with Hot Rocks it's easy, fast, and economical to add dazzle to your project and not feel guilty about it. YAY!!! I love this tool . . . you'll be seeing more of it on pages I'll share with you next week. :)

I also added a rock star feel with Shimmerz Paints. I spritzed the background cardstock with Baby's Breath and Cotton Candy Spritz. Next I dripped Hottie Pink Blingz and Pink Shimmerz paint here-and-there. I allowed the paint to dry for a minute and then wiped most of it away, leaving the dried edges of the paint drops. It was an experiment, but I actually really like the way it look here.

JENSYN

For this page, I combined the TLC collection with a soft butter yellow. Swoon! LOVE this color combination! I will definitely be playing with it again. The background is misted with Licorice Spritz by Shimmerz Paints. I cut out lots of bits and pieces from several of the patterned papers, layered them together around the photo and then accented the flowers with Pearl Hot Rocks.

I created the title by covering up the wedding sentiment with a length of ribbon. I spelled out my title on top with Jenni Bowlin letter stickers and then accented either side with Pearl Hot Rocks. The journal spot is by Anna Griffin.

Whew! Thanks for sticking with me this far! And THANK YOU to Imaginisce for having me! I'll be back throughout the week with even more layouts to show you. :D

Have a great day!
Jana
