This morning there is a new challenge up at the Noel Mignon Challenge blog: The GLEE Challenge. Even if you don't watch the show, Glee, you can play along with the fun requirements. :) Head on over to see what the other design team members created. You are sure to be inspired!
Glee by Jana Eubank
I used the Sassafras Lass cards from the Paper Doll kit mixed with papers and other embellishments from the Core Curriculum kit.
My journaling reads:
"I was an interesting person in High School. I was friends with every one, but didn't quite fit into a specific group. I was actually proud of that. My best friends were my sister and Clark & Adrian. I just wanted High School to be over so I could move on! If I could give my young self advice, I would tell myself to be more confident, get involved and take the chances that you wanted to. " Journalled 1/2010
-- If anything, head over to the Noel Mignon Challenge blog to listen to the fun Glee Playlist while you scrap. :) So fun! --

I had another project go up on the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog today. A project that would make a perfect Valentine's Day gift for a teacher, grandparents, co-worker or other special friend.
If you are anything like me Valentine's Day = Chocolate! So what better gift to give fellow chocolate lovers than a Chocolate Survival Kit?! :D
I had a bead organizer on hand that I picked up at a craft store a few months back. I believe it was $2. You can also find containers like these at dollar stores.
I decorated the front with cute patterned papers from the Noel Mignon Object of My Affection kit and Brown Lush papers by My Mind's Eye (How can these papers NOT remind you of creamy milk chocolate?!! :) Slurp! ) . I embossed the top layer with a Cuttlebug Valentine embossing folder I purchased from HSN. I then die cut the letters out of cardstock using the Olivia (brown) and Red Tag Sale (white) alphabet dies for the Cuttlebug. I embellished my label with some ribbon, paper hearts and dimensional stickers to finish it off.
Inside I filled the compartments with all kinds of chocolate treats. They look so cute and colorful presented this way! I hope the recipients will be delighted with their kits full of chocolate. :) Hmmmmm. Maybe I'll keep this one for myself! Hehehehe!
That's it for today! See you again soon!
Jana
