I bought these super cute stamps the other day and couldn't wait to come home and use them! They are called Sweet Kawaii and are by My Cute Stamps.
I also picked up this Circus Set. Caaaa-UTE!!!!
Okay, so those ice cream cones were just calling for a touch of Shimmerz! I stamped the ice cream cone image on different patterned papers, cut out the cones, and then pieced them together. I then coated each one with a touch of Shimmerz; Angel Wings Shimmerz on the white cone, Key Lime Shimmerz on the green cone, and Poinsettia Pink on the pink cones. The Shimmerz gives just the perfect amount of shine for a sugary effect! :)
I used the delicious July Scrapperie kit to create this page. I'm so in love with the girly colors in this kit! Check it out here!
My dad decided to take 7 of his grandkids out for an ice cream cone . . . by himself! I thought that was very brave!!! I don't think I would even attempt that one! LOL! But he did it, and they all looked so cute packed in Grampa's car. There are 7 ice cream cones on this page . . . one for each grandchild. :)
Here's a picture to show the shine of the Shimmerz in the sunlight. Cool, huh!!! :D
And because it's friday I have a sketch for you that I created this layout from. Here ya go!
And I also created a card, using the donut stamp. The papers and word sticker are by Bella Blvd. The journal spot is by Elle's Studio. I painted the icing on the donut with Poinsettia Pink Shimmerz.
And then here is a card using My Little Shoebox and the Circus Animals stamp set. The papers, tree cutout and transparency flowers are from the "Whoo Loves You?" collection, and the cloud transparency is from the "Sky's the Limit" collection.
I'll leave you with some pictures of the latest kits by Scrapperie. There are two fun choices this month. CLICK HERE to find out more about them in the Scrapperie Boutique.
Farmer's Market - $30.00
Fruit Salad - $30.00 (I'm playing with this one this month, so check back on the 15th to see those projects.)
Enjoy your weekend!

ReplyDeleteLove the new projects! I have a question...where do you find those cute journaling spots that you use (like the one on the ice cream outing layout?) Are they stamps or journaling stickers? Love how you use those on your layouts!
ReplyDeleteI love these cards. Great colors & layouts!
ReplyDeleteHi Elisha! The journaling spot on this layout is by Jillibean Soup. I just love the bright colors! I know! I really love journaling spots. A lot of them come in the kits I work with and several companies are making them these days. You can also find some on etsy.com. I love all kinds and I pick them up whenever I see them because I know I will use them. :) My favorite ones are by Jillibean Soup, Anna Griffin, Elle's Studio, and Shabby Chic Crafts. Have fun shopping! :)
