Whew! What a weekend!

Whew! Seriously! What a whirlwind of a weekend! We had a great time celebrating birthdays . . . both Camryn's and America's, with family and friends! I STILL can't believe we are in July already . . . didn't 2008 just begin?!

Sadly, (I mean, aren't I a scrapbooker?) I only took a few pictures of Cam's Family Birthday Party last night. It always seems like I'm running around taking care of food and doing cousin-control. LOL! I really need to be better at stopping and capturing more photos. Thank heavens my dad is a shutterbug! (I've already requested a CD full of his photos. Thanks, Dad!)But for now, here are a couple of pathetic photos I took from our fun family party last night(I'll spare you the blurry ones). :D

The birthday girl . . . hiding behind a Diet Coke. LOL!

Watching fireworks with everyone

This kid of mine cracks me up! This morning I was working on the computer and Maryn kept asking me to stop so we could go somewhere. I said to her "Sweetie, we can later, but right now, Mommy has to get a deadline up on the computer."

With worry in her voice, Maryn replies, "A DEAD LION!!! Is it a baby lion?"
:D This girl cracks me up every day! Love her! :D

So here is the "dead lion" I was talking about. And it just happens to be about Maryn! :D My layout for this week's post at Noel Mignon. LOL!

We named Maryn after my mom and it couldn't have been more appropriate! Out of all my daughters she looks the most like my mom . . . I mean, just look at those cute round faces and identical smiles! Love it! :D

For this layout I used a mixture of kits and pieces. I used the October Afternoon Daydream and Basic Grey Cupcake papers from the Cotton Candy Kit. The Pink Paislee orange diecut paper is also included in the Cotton Candy kit. The tree paper from Pink Paislee was included in the Hopscotch kit. For the title I used Vintage Jenni Bowlin Chalkboard Alpha Letter Stickers and Brown Jenni Bowlin Kindergarten Alpha Rubons. Finally I accented the page using a few clear buttons.

Happy Monday, Everyone! I'll see you again tomorrow!
