My Mind's Eye Alphabet Soup Page

Yesterday on the My Mind's Eye blog, the designers shared pages with a "Summer Fun" theme.

I came outside one afternoon to find my two oldest dressed in full on "battle gear" having the wackiest water fight I have ever seen. Owen was dressed in his Narnia Knight Halloween Costume top with his swimsuit on the bottom. Jensyn had strapped every water inflatable she could find (and a few crocs) to herself as "protection" and they were running around the yard yelping and having a water war.

I bust out laughing and had to grab my camera right away. LOOOOVE those kids! They are so creative! :D

Here is the page I created with the NEW Alphabet Soup - Boy Collection.



I created the water waves using the woodgrain pattern on the Zoofari Paper. The blue letters in the title are My Mind's Eye Lush Blue Flocked Chipboard Alphabet Stickers. The word "Wacky" was cut using my Slice and the FaLaLa design card.


I used the Fall/Back to School and Remember This design cards to cut the sun and clouds with my Slice.

NEW My Mind's Eye - Part 1 of 2

I've spent the last 6 or 7 months participating as a part time Designer at My Mind's Eye. This company is a DREAM to work with. They are so sweet, considerate and kind. They treat you like gold . . . So you can imagine how FLIPPIN' EXCITED I am that they have asked me to join the Design Team Full Time! Wooooooot!!!! Wooooooot!!!! :D :D :D (Pinch me, I think I'm dreaming! :D :D :D)



I consider myself a "multi-personality" scrapper. Hehehehe! One minute I am scrapping vintage shabby and the next I love playing with whimsical designs. That is one of the reasons I love My Mind's Eye so much . . . they do it ALL . . . AND they do it WELL. I mean TOP NOTCH kind of well. :D :D :D Have you SEEN their latest releases?
